Terms of Service

1. About the Service

Logeverything is a personal financial record-organization tool. It allows you to submit income and expense information through a Telegram bot and organize that information in a supported Google Sheets template.

2. Accounts and Connected Services

To use certain features, you may need to interact with our Telegram bot and authorize access to your Google account and Google Sheets.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining the security of your Telegram and Google accounts;
• ensuring that the account information and spreadsheet details you provide are accurate;
• preventing unauthorized access to your devices, accounts, and authentication sessions;
• reviewing the permissions displayed during Google authorization before granting access; and
• promptly revoking access or contacting us if you believe your account or connection has been compromised.

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your connected accounts or devices.

3. Google Sheets Access

Logeverything requests Google Sheets access to read and update the spreadsheet used with the service. We do not request access to unrelated services such as Gmail, contacts, or Google Calendar.

By connecting your Google account, you authorize Logeverything to perform spreadsheet operations necessary to provide the features you request. These operations may include:

• reading relevant spreadsheet values and structure;
• adding income and expense records;
• updating transaction rows, categories, summaries, totals, and related fields;
• calculating or displaying financial summaries and charts; and
• checking whether the spreadsheet is compatible with the service.

You can revoke Google authorization at any time through your Google Account settings. Revoking access may prevent the service from reading or updating your spreadsheet.

4. Supported Spreadsheet Template

Logeverything currently works with the custom spreadsheet template provided by us. You may not be able to use your own spreadsheet structure or an independently created template.

The provided template may contain required sheet names, columns, formulas, formatting, charts, and other structural elements. Changing or deleting these elements may cause the service to produce incorrect results or stop working.

5. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of the financial and personal information you provide through Telegram or store in your Google spreadsheet.

You grant Logeverything a limited permission to process your content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and provide the service. This permission ends when the information is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to legal and security-related retention requirements.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the information you provide and to authorize its processing through connected services.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing all transactions, categories, dates, descriptions, summaries, calculations, and charts created or updated by Logeverything.

• Confirm that transaction amounts, categories, and dates are correct.
• Correct inaccurate, duplicated, missing, or incorrectly categorized entries.
• Avoid submitting passwords, banking credentials, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Logeverything is a tracking tool, not financial advice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Logeverything. In particular, you must not:

• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, another user's information, accounts, systems, or infrastructure;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload, or damage the service or its providers;
• introduce malicious code, automated attacks, scraping tools, or harmful content;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• use the service to access or process information without the appropriate authorization;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority; or
• bypass usage limits, security controls, or access restrictions.

8. Automated Processing and Accuracy

Logeverything may use automated systems to interpret your messages, identify transaction fields, assign categories, and generate summaries or calculations.

Automated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, delayed, or incorrectly categorized. Factors such as ambiguous messages, network failures, API interruptions, spreadsheet modifications, and third-party service errors may affect the output.

You must review automated output before using it for budgeting, reporting, tax preparation, accounting, or other important decisions.

9. No Financial, Tax, Accounting, or Legal Advice

Logeverything is an organizational and informational tool. It is not a bank, accountant, financial advisor, investment advisor, tax advisor, law firm, or payment processor.

Information, summaries, categories, charts, and calculations produced through the service are not professional advice and should not be treated as such.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before making significant financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal decisions.

10. Third-Party Services

Logeverything depends on third-party services, including Telegram and Google.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party outages, changes, account restrictions, security incidents, or discontinuation of services.

11. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Logeverything available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation.

The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, security concerns, internet disruptions, Telegram or Google outages, API limits, provider changes, or events beyond our reasonable control.

We may establish or change usage limits, supported features, technical requirements, and integration behavior as reasonably necessary to operate the service.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Logeverything at any time. You may also revoke Google authorization through your Google Account settings and stop or block the Telegram bot.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service when reasonably necessary, including when:

• you violate these Terms or applicable law;
• your use creates a security, legal, or operational risk;
• we detect suspected fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access;
• a connected third-party service restricts or disables the required integration; or
• we discontinue the service or a relevant feature.

Termination does not automatically delete records already written to your Google spreadsheet. You remain responsible for managing those records through your Google account.

13. Disclaimers

We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not warrant that:

• the service will always be available, secure, or free of errors;
• transactions will always be interpreted, categorized, or recorded correctly;
• summaries, charts, calculations, or spreadsheet entries will be complete or accurate; or
• defects, errors, data loss, or third-party service interruptions will always be corrected.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Logeverything and its owners, operators, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, savings, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

This limitation applies to losses arising from or related to:

• your access to, use of, or inability to use the service;
• inaccurate, duplicated, delayed, missing, or corrupted financial records;
• reliance on generated categories, summaries, charts, or calculations;
• unauthorized account access or security incidents;
• Telegram, Google, network, API, or other third-party failures; or
• changes made to your spreadsheet or the supplied template.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Logeverything.

By using the service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the product constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

17. General Terms

• Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and us regarding your use of the service.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
• No waiver: A failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written permission. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the service.
• Headings: Section headings are included for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
